The penultimate post in the Fork & Spoon Potluck musical line up series features Coma Cinema. We have to admit that we love Coma Cinema, not just because we put out the vinyl version of his last LP “Blue Suicide,” not just because 2/3rds of the label play in Coma Cinema’s live band, not just because he recently moved from Spartanburg to Columbia, but because all three of us have built a strong friendship with Mat Cothran over the past few years, and he has taken a strong initiative to not only help and support Fork & Spoon, but also the Columbia music scene.
His music doesn’t need much introduction. It’s very good. If you like very good music, you will most likely like Coma Cinema. Featured here is a song from the last installment of another one of Mat Cothran’s musical monikers, called Elvis Depressedly, that has recently been popping up in Coma Cinema live sets.
